Just had an email from BMW telling me my car is due a brake service.
Brake fluid was done last year. And there is plenty of meat left on the pads.
Is there another brake service I'm missing?

PS: the car is almost four years old and done 24000 miles

I had exactly the same email and mines not a year old yet,rang Coopers service department and was informed the 'generic' email had been sent out to lots of customers in error.

Yes, I had the same email. I only bought my pre-registered car from Coopers 5 weeks ago and it has only done 1300 miles now.

Glad to hear it was sent in error as I was wondering what was going on.

Had the same email myself yesterday from Cooper York, I replied asking them to explain why, the service department isn’t great at the moment. At least I know why now and don’t have to wait days for a explanation!
