Blimey..... I'll review that when time allows, it'll take a while

BTW copper ease will cause corrosion as it reacts with alloy, could suggest ceramic brake grease on hub.

Car's looking good

Thanks man. It will take a while lol. I just had two weeks off work so thought it was a good way to ease me back in over the course of Monday

As for the copper grease, yeah I hear that. It's an old school thing that's now fallen out of favour. I've never had an issue with it but Ive heard your point before. I'll try ceramic next time or similar maybe, thanks

I've dabbled a bit into detailing, there is some great info in there, thanks!

Car looks great too, makes the EBII look like the Portimao Blue of the G20, to my eye!

Wow... that's some knowledge and write up.

I have recently bought a black car and was finding it a race against time to dry it without leaving water marks. Just bought a DI vessel and today used it for the first time for my final rinse. It was brilliant with no water marks at all. My mains water is around 225 ppm but with this vessel it was 0 to 2 ppm.

Do you not use/recommend using this sort of pure water or any sort of water filter for the wash process?

I polished and waxed my car a few weeks ago. Good to hear that you rate Autoglym High Definition Wax as that's what I use.....and I have had it years.

Thanks!

Admittedly the lighting was perfect for those pics and it really made the blue pop and very deep looking, but you can see the difference In colour side by side with a good condition EB11 F36 in my work car park below:

Yeah mate I totally recommend use of anything that purifies your water. The inline filters you can plumb in to your outside tap are great and anything you can do to reduce water marks is a great help.

I don't personally use one myself as my last couple of cars have been white and with the use of semi permanent coatings they become far less of an issue anyway but for those with dark cars and/or standard wax or sealant as their top coat they are hugely beneficial and glad yours is working for you.

Try getting a side kick airforce blaster combined with your now soft water and your car drying life will be complete
