iPhone 3G Echo when talking through handsfree?

I hear myself when i am talking to people through bluetooth handsfree, and so does the person i am talking to, they can hear an echo. My phone doesnt do this when talking normally. Has anyone else experienced this, it is EXTREMELY annoying! I am so dissapointed with this damn phone, I had a previous gen one and im seriousluy considering going back to it, the internet isnt any faster and i am getting shitty ass signal, its almost like they put a GSM card in my iphone 3G haha. Does anyone else agree with me, or is my iPhone broken?

I just logged in to get some info. on this issue. Purchased my iphone 3G about a month ago and having the same problem in my 335. Just to let you know my 335 is in the shop, and the loaner 328 I have does the same thing too! Let me know what you find out.

turn the volume up on the phone, volume down in the car... problem solved. fixed my echo problems on my 3g iphone.

ok wait turn the vehicle volume down, thats fine, but what do u mean turn the phone vol up? the ringer?

when talking on the phone use the volume button to raise the microphone/ speaker volume in your phone
