Search "Bmw specialist Bristol" on Google, a few options come up including this:

I tried this in Glasgow, had my car serviced, the local ( trusted , good guys) cleared the service codes but could not update the service history.
Went to another garage a week later , showed them all the receipts and offered to pay for their time to do the upgrade... not interested, " we didn't do the work etc.." |

You can update the idrive yourself with the HUManager software
This does not update the central BMW server though, just the idrive It does mean that the idrive is not really a foolproof history, anybody can put anything they want in there, only BMW will be able to say what has actually been done within the BMW network |

Any history not put on via the BMW portal will be wiped out the next time it's connected to BMW servers. Also, you'll unlikely find anyone that will upload history correctly if they didn't do the work. Dash warnings can be reset manually via the dash.
