Is this a beginner friendly event?
Can/will I be provided an instructor all day? Both days?
Who is hosting this event?
Can I get a ride in the LSD'd 335?

I will be there the next week with the LA BMWCCA.

Yes, you can have an instructor with you all day, both days.

Speedventures.com Have a look at their site.

I'll take you for a ride!

I choose to see this excessive question asking as an indication of my "safety first, speed 2nd" on track attitude. Or... I prefer to not see it as being stupid and or needy.

I want this highlighted option. Should I "not be honest" about my lvl of experience so that I can get the instruction I want at the price I want? Basically, I would go back a few pages and select the option for "never been on track before". I think that would open up this option. Thoughts?

Yes, be honest. If you have never been to this track before or have very few track event experiences.

Oh, I didn't say what I meant to say.

I think that, inorder to open up that "grey'd out" option, I would tell the system that I have less driving experience than I really do. So, I'd be dishonest in the safe direction.

I think the system seems me as beginning/intermediate. If I tell the system I'm a beginner, I think it would be a better deal for me. I have zero desire to figure out a new track all by myself. I want/need someone riding passenger helping me get things right before I think about getting fast.

Yes, if chose the beginner option, you may be able to select an instructor for all day.

Wait a second... Mr5 can take noobs for a ride? Doesn't the driver need to be an instructor to take a passenger?

From what I saw of Mr5's autocross times, maybe I should take him for a spin instead. I only got beat by 3/4 sec by Ed in the 535 in comparison to his 4 sec. :-P (no disrespect, just having fun)

haha, You guys are funny.
I've been to a couple track events.
One was at Laguna Seca with Formula 4 cars and some other autocross events.
Track driving is much harder than just launching in a straight line.

It's gonna be fun!

this would be my first track event, what do you guys do as far as insurance coverage, as most normal policies exclude track related incidents... are there any by-the-day track insurance?
