Possible to improve the M340i rump?

Really don't like the fake tailpipes on the M340i. Then when looking at a pic of the G20 330i with the M Performance body kit fitted I wondered...

Seems the M340i body kit retains the fake tips so could you fit the 330i M Perf rear diffuser to the M340i thus doing away with the built in exhaust trim, then use MPPSK style c/f tips to finish off the exhaust instead?
