Does anyone have a blank where the phone prep goes or know what it's called?
I'm after a blank trim to go in the armrest in place of the phone prep kit, pictured.
Or better still, a cheap complete phone prep kit that I can fit just to fill the gap inside the armrest.

I removed my phone kit , nearly a year ago and binned it !! no resale value or so I thought ,
I cut and shaped some ribbed rubber matting taken from an obsolete machine at work .looks perfect without paying the extortionate price for the BMW part !! |

Yeah I think Ive found some of the plain rubber inserts on ebay, but people are asking £15/20 for them.

You could do what I did here...
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1446000 Just ring your local dealer for the rubber mat insert. I got mine of ebay though. |

Thanks.
Does the rubber mat require anything to clip it into position, or does it drop straight in? Don't suppose you kept it? Saves me looking elsewhere.

I think its his iPod.
In the mean time I've just ordered the rubber cover. Hopefully it will fit straight in.
