HUD - Turn off Speed Limit?

Is it possible to turn off the Speed Limit indicator at least in the HUD if not in the dash?

My understanding is that it turns Red when you exceed the posted speed limit and that would get very annoying very fast.

I think you can turn speed limit of in driving assistance. Not sure about only removing it from the hud.

I would be fine with both.

I don't know whether you can turn off the speed limit in HUD, but I'm absolutely certain that you can turn off whether it turns red when you're exceeding the limit. It's an option in the iDrive HUD menu called something like Speed Limit Assist. Gotta love the marketing guys ...

Picked up the car today and you can indeed turn of the “speeding” warnings in both the dash and HUD.
