Ambiente Lighting Option for late F30 Models

Hello

I have been scouring threads for answers/insight into adding led colour options for 2016-18 340.

Threads I have found reference coding 3070 Ambiente_Farbe_Ensemble_1, etc. which I understand does not exist in my model anymore. (Can't find it in Bimmercode)

I have the Sport Line lighting package which provides Orange/White option.

What I would like to do is access blue led option. I have been able to find coding that allows me to change the CS Line (i.e. Urban), change number of colours to display in iDrive, but only Orange/White actually work. I assume a combo of coding is required to make this work - if it even can.

Has anyone been able to navigate the new coding to introduce more colour options?

Help!

The hardware limits the color option to Orange and White. You will have to replace the LEDs to get other colors, sorry pal.

Thanks AK415

Do you have any info on that option? Where to find required leds, coding after install?

Any time!

I have seen it on this forum, there are 2 ways to do it:
  1. Use the existing hardware and solder the replacement LEDs
  2. Replace the "rail" entirely and they can be found on eBay

I will try to find the post maybe... this weekend

Can you provide me with the coding perimeters to change the number of colors that can be displayed in the idrive settings. Thanks in advance
