Hi all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to code the Speed Limit Information on an F30 2013 build with following spec:

- KAFAS1 camera which I believe controls my Adaptive Xenon's with HBA.
- I also have the small sensor on back of rear view mirror, which I believe is for dimming functions.
- Full black panel display.

I do not have lane assist.


I have some basic understanding of ESYS, I have done FA coding for advanced BT and Reversing camera.

Can anyone tell me is it's possible with my car spec (above) to activate the Speed Limit Information, and if so.....how?

Sorry, the speed limit info work only with kafas2 camera.

Ok great thanks for clarifying. Am I right in thinking that the KAFAS2 camera has the words 'connected drive' outside it as you look through the windscreen, where as KAFAS1 doesn't?

Hence why I am assuming I have KAFAS1

What is your navigation version? If you have NEXT, you can just buy a retrofit box online and plug it in your dashboard.
