I may be using the wrong words in my search, but I cannot find this. Car is 2018 3-series with navigation and CA, I have heard that the 2019 cars require you to press the trunk-open remote button twice. Can I change mine to do that I can see how to to change to a longer time needed to hold the button, but I think a 2-click requirement would be safer. I would prefer something I could do with Bimmercode, but I can use esys if I need to.

I’ve not seen two clicks of the trunk release as an option. You can code it so that the trunk will only release from the remote if you have unlocked the car first. Still two buttons presses, but different buttons.
