Another new mod! Lighted ZHP Knob
Yes a little pointless to some people, But I'm not one of those people
I really liked the feature of the lighted shift knob on the M models, But the stock shifter is a little long and feels almost rubbery, Then I discovered the ZHP weighted shift knob, Nice and heavy and the perfect height for the Z4 console but you loose the light feature and I personally think thats a really cool feature! I mean c'mon how many cars have lighted shift knobs from the factory lol, Anyway after a lot of drilling and sanding and swearing with the dremel and after breaking the led board (I blew one of the stock LED's, Instead of guessing I just replaced all 3 leds with the same color and it came out very stock looking) But here is the final piece, and at night,

Hey Starscream, would you mind explaining where one would tap in the wires to light up the knob?
I have a Hartge knob that lights up but don't know where to splice in the wires for power. Thanks in advance!

just looks for the wire line that becomes live when you turn the lights on and splice into that
