What Floor Mats Are You Using?

Floor mats are going to be hard to find since it's the first year for this car. Are factory ones holding up. Anyone using other ones than OEM?

If anyone finds a properly fitted rubber mat for the cargo area of the X7, please post where you found it.

Thanks. I saw those. I have used 3D max spider kagu in the past. I like how they are easy to clean but look like they are fabric. I think all weather can look a little rugged. But are much easier to keep clean than carpet. I just hope 3D makes them for the x7 soon

It may seem like a small thing to some people. But I feel when you have large cars with a good amount of floor space they make a huge difference. If they aren't clean it bothers me

Joe, here's the BMW OEM accessory option:

https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...IFJlc3VsdHM%3D

It seems to be specifically for behind the 3rd row seats, with the 3rd row up. I haven't found anybody that specifically makes one yet for the 3rd row down, which is what I'd be looking for.

Weather Tech has a "Universal" cargo floor mat, which they say is "trim to fit". It looks like you're supposed to trim it yourself, to fit in your cargo compartment. I'm skeptical, but curious.

Simply looking at the OEM photo makes me confused already.

It looks large enough to be fitted on top of the 3rd row being down. Yet if you go through the images on their websites it takes you back to your statement being behind the 3rd row being up.

My question is where is that image of this large one coming from 🤔?

A project of doing one that was scrapped ?

The OEM pic you see is probably from an X5. I am not sure when BMW will update the pic for the X7. But regardless, the OEM X7 rear cargo mat only fits behind the 3rd row with the 3rd row up (I own this rear mat). Not sure if BMW has plans to make one for the 3rd row to be down...

Literary go my weather tech updated trunk Matt less than a minute ago.

I'll post pictures once I have it installed.

But it's not the one in your post.

Pictures added. And it's looks amazing and material is just great.

CanvasBack is an option for the third row down and third row up. There is another thread in the forum with details and pictures.

I have it and like it. Not great for heavy duty, dirty cargo but perfect for everyday gear and kid gear. Also allows for third row up or down co figuration without having to deal with a rubber mat.
