Car set back to factory settings
Have a 2017 440i convertible. Had it coded to do some things when car was newer (2 years ago). I am having the lens of the instrument cluster replaced ( fogged up inside) and the lens itself cannot be replaced, they are replacing entire cluster (under warranty), which means they will be re-setting car back to factory settings at some point during replacement. I know all previous coding will be wiped out and I have already made arrangements to have coding re-done by the same people who originally did it (they are charging me only $50 for this), but my question(s) are:
1. Will this re-setting affect things such as; a. Driver profile(s) b. Music stormed on hard drive (about 125 CD's) c. The 8 memory buttons d. Anything impacting telephone(s) set up e. Anything else I have not mentioned Thanks Luckstr |

Driver profiles can be exported to USB drive and later imported.

I’ve also had my seat memory settings go as well after a full update.
