What is the BEST and EASIEST way to increase performance on my 06 Z4 Roadster without voiding my warranty? Will new software void the warranty?

your warrenty wil not be voided unless the MOD contributes to the part failure. IE. If you get an exhaust and your engine blows up BMW will buy you a new engine. Things like software are linked to engine malfunctions and most of the time if a stealer detects the software they will void the warrenty.

IMO engine mods are risky which is why i stay away from them. If i had more money i would invest in suspension mods becuase if something happens the parts are not that expensive compared to the price of a new engine. Then again anything could happen. Mod at your own risk.

Best way to improve performance without voiding warranty is to improve the driver.

Get DINAN parts. They won't void warranty and if they do. DINAN will warranty that item.

TRANSLATION: If anything breaks on your car with mods. The dealership will attempt to blame the failure on the modification and not honor your warranty. I've been through this a million times with my previous car. So you either wait til you're out of warranty or deal with the risk.

I already have a Dinan package on my car and my car is "badged" Dinan. I was considering the Dinan high flow air intake and software as the next additions.

Wheels and tires are simplest and safest. Lighter rims and stickier tires will improve accel and cornering ability.

When you say performance, do you mean handling or straight line?
