Dear All,

I'm a newbie. I owned a used F36 this year and I want to learn about coding BMW.

I bought an ODB cable on eBay by a Chinese seller and luckily it came with a CD which includes EDIABAS and PSDZDATA.

But I really need help to install the software caused the CD came in Chinese. I'm quite confused when I try to install.

I attached 4 pictures as 4 steps they write outside, but i don't really know how to install.

PLEASE HELP NEWBIE

Take the CD and throw it in the trash.
Ediabas you don‘t need and the psdzdata are too old.
And what connection type does the OBD cable have? Ethernet or USB?

Ethernet? But i have a switch from ethernet to usb. What can i do for now?
They mark the odb2

For your car you need an ethernet-OBD-cable.
