Could Honda Plant be saved.

Interesting article,

Might just happen if they get enough incentives and cash perks who knows?.

Its an interesting idea. As it would essentially negate the import price hike after brexit, so they would stay competitive in one of their biggest markets.

Yeah I guess so. They may bring over the 3/4 series as they are the biggest sellers?

It depends on how many cars they can build in one plant production lines etc...IIRC they tend have only a few per plant as each production line needs an awful lot of room.

Not sure what capabilities the Honda plant has the BMW plant in the US that handles multiple models is 1200 acres vs the 400 acres of Swindon.

The article is in the sun......."A source said" is the type of unfounded blabbing that got us into this mess in the first place.

Quite a large proportion of cars manufactured at the US sites are the large SUV models though. They need all that extra space to store the huge grills.

400 acres should be plenty if they only make the smaller grilled models.

Agreed, doesn't sound very likely right now.

Yes but there is a really interesting thread about BMW inventing an electric paint that stores energy.
