software update

I took my car in to get my oem alarm activated. They told me they did the software upgrade while they were in there.

Besides having all my presets reset/deleted, the only thing I could tell was different was the font on the display in the dash. Its a bit larger and round like the 2008 e90s.

Is there a way to change the font back to what it was? I'm not really feeling this new one.

same thing happened to me. I just ended up getting used to it and forgot about it.

I don't think there's a way to change the font either.

quick question. did your angel eyes come on when unlocking and locking the car prior to your software update?

supposedly some peoples come on from diff manuacturing dates though. mine is an 06 so it doesnt. thats why i was wondering if your software update added that feature.

Yes mine does! 335 E92, built in May of 07. ANNNND I LOVE IT! hahaha... gives me a chill. Especially at night when it's dark and you walk up to the car, unlock the doors, and the angel eyes come on gradually...since i have a black sapphire I don't see much of the rest of the car... it's like waking up a beast! ya know, watchiing his vicious eyes open! you have no idea! so cooooooool! i always say, "hi beastie!" ... i'm crazy I know

Mine is a May of '07 build as well, no software updates, angel eyes have always come up on unlock for me

Same here when unlocking it comes on.

If you have your headlights set to "auto" the angels come on when unlocking the car. If you have them set at manual, they dont.

you would think so. but thats not the case for us with 06 builds and early 07's. they added this feature sometime in 07 im assuming then.
