how do you removed a seized rear axle?

i already unbolt all the stuff that needed to be unbolted and my rear axle is on zipties.. i used an axle press already and it got destroyed... i already tried using using a brass punch and hammering it, so anyone had this problem before? any ideas thx

When this happened to me before I unbolted the hub assembly with only the axle attached (I left all other suspension components bolted to the car) and brought them to a machine shop where they used a 20 ton press to separate them. It sucks, but not as bad as destroying another tool.
