Ordered my G20!

Hey all,

I’m excited to be back in the 3 series. I’ve owned the E92 335i(N54), two F30 335i’s and then made a move to an X5 all loaded out with M Performance. With my wife’s lease on her Is300 ending, we decided to go with the G20 330i.

I’m gonna wait on the G20 M3 to swap out my X5 which is why we aren’t going for the M340i!

I got an AMAZING deal over at my local dealership from a CA named Craig. I’m actually under invoice on this order, and very happy with everything from the CA up to management. Excellent job all around. Here’s my order slated to be delivered in the first or second week of April.

BMW 330i X-Drive
Mineral White
Cognac Leather
ZMP(Hyper Silver 19’ Wheels with Performance RFT)
ZCV(inc in Msport)
ZPP
Remote Start
HK Sound
Ambient Lighting
Blind Spot

To be Added once it hits the port:
Black Kidney Grilles
Carbon Lip Spoiler
M Performance Exhaust

And that’s it!!! SO excited!!

Great. Did you get the "under invoice" price w/o incentives?
I managed to get invoice+$500-any incentives available at that time

Exciting stuff.. Congrats! Can you share more details like the final MSRP - if the dealer included lease credits... that is if your leasing.

Also did you get Laser lights/ U shape daytime running lights? The online US configuration makes you get both executive package + premium just to get that. $$$

Thanks!

So my dealer and CA basically went to invoice and subtracted credits. So I am at -2000 bc of loyalty!

I am paying 582/month , 10k, 36mos with 0 cap cost, just DMV and taxes!

You know, I thought about the laser lights a million times but it’s truly a car that I could careless about the lights when it already has LEDs! The drive is my most concerning aspect!

Did they mark up the money factor at all?

And in NY do you pay the entire sales tax up front?

No mark up, CA showed me rate sheet and residual. And in Anaya you can roll it in or pay taxes upfront. I chose upfront for a lower payment but usually I roll it.

Congrats! My preferred build is almost like yours, except I'd like to add ZPK (basically the executive package minus the gimmicky laser light and gesture control).

What was your residual on 10k miles?

Also do they already have all the port installed options priced and ready to go? I assume you are getting invoice price on those as well?

At invoice before incentives for a brand new car is an amazing deal. As always, is invoice estimated to be 9-11% below MSRP?

For bmw invoice before incentives should be considered your starting point for any volume model. Unless looking at an M early in the lifecycle or a limited production model, you should not accept paying more.

Makes sense. Do you happen to know invoice for the G20? I was trying to say that I believe it’s 9-11% below the MSRP, I think?

Easiest way to confirm is ask to see the vehicle inquiry report with invoice (wholesale) on it.

I think the rule of thumb with bmws most recent pricing strategy is .94 of base price and .92 of any options

Good to know. Based on below:

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/2018-B...s-Price-c27098

It looks like 10-11% below MSRP is considered a “good” price. I realize that’s the 2018 and not 2019.

Calc your invoice then subtract current incentives. That's your best ballpark for minimum price.
