PS2

after a long search for the right tire ive decided to go with PS2s. I was originally going to cheap out and get generals or sumitomos but i want my car to handle its full potential. PS2s apparently really open up the Z4M according to bimmerfest members. ordered them today and getting mounted on monday. cant wait. i decided to upsize to 245/275. although its more $$$$ the more rubber the better

same choice I have made when I wear out the conti's

Which will be a very long drive the amount of miles I do a year,

probably be onto PS3's or PS4's by the time mine wear out lol,

I just got my Dunlop Direzza's yesterday (last full set of 275's at Tire Rack), that I'll hopefully be installing today. Cheaper than PS2's, and are supposed to have great grip from my friends who already have them. I've run PS2's on my M5 for year, so I'm interested to see how the Direzza's perform in comparison. Should be much better than the Conti's that I can't stand.

How is the Direzza compare to PS2? I am in the market for tires as well, think of RE01 and Advan Sport as alternative as well.

I put Advan Sports on the rear of my M5 when my last set of PS2's ran out, and as much as Yok claims they are on par with the PS2's, they are not!! Advan sport is not in the same league as PS2. So far I'm very happy wiht the Direzza's on the coupe, except they are louder at highway speeds. I wouldn't hesitate to get them for either ///M car. My g/f has RE01's on her E36 M3 that she put on when her PS2's got lot, and to also run at autox events. She has been happy with them, but is itching to try out some Direzza's after all the talk she has heard about them, but they are backordered for her size.
