E92 Audio and Display not working
Hi Guys,
A couple of weeks ago whilst playing a CD I noticed that the audio would keep cutting out and then restarting. The same thing happened for the radio. Now I can barely play either at all. I also cannot open the boot anymore and today my IDrive display is freezing/severely delayed. Whenever I drive I hear this ‘clicking’ noise. My battery was replaced a few months ago. What do you think the problem could be? Fuses? Is it something I could fix myself or need to take into the shop? Thanks |

Always check the battery and running alternator voltage first.
There is a manual key hole on 06's its tucked away under the lip of the trunk lid. Your manual key is inside your keyfob if you don't have the manual plastic key. You need to do some basic measurement for us to give intelligent responses. (voltage to start with) If you had the battery replaced was it one of the same type with the same amp hour rating . Do you have aftermarket equipment installed in your car? |
