Automatic transmission cooler replace

I have a leak coming from my automatic transmission oil cooler/heat exchanger it appears to be a internal leak i.e. not leaking from the hoses/connection points. I’m curious about what all is involved in replacing this including what to expect, tips on the removal/installation, what all I need to replace and what all I should replace while doing this. I’d like to buy everything I’m going to need while on vacation for the holidays so once I get back I can replace it as soon as possible. Car is 2007 BMW 335i sedan 2/07 production.
