JB4 plus Dinan?
Salute guys, kinda newish here. Got this 08 E92 335. color is a lil light in the pics, it's darker in person. Clean car, with a dinan stg 2 tune oil cooler, custom exhaust, and air intake. I am waiting for my 7 inch intercooler and charge pipe to get here via ups. I'm ready to buy the jb4 but want to be sure that it will work fine with the current tune. I'm guessing it will since it's just a piggy back on top, but would like to be sure before I blow 500.00 bucks finding out. Has anyone used a jb4 over dinan. Would it be the same as say an mhd tune with jb4? thanks in advance.

I have had Dinan Stage 2 and 3 (requires hardware before they will load it), and JB4. Flash your car back to stock, about a hundred bux, and go with the JB4. It provides much more bang for your hard earned bucks. Also do consider MHD.

Are you referring to the Dinan hardware, that packs with each tune.? if so then that's cool, because I'm not going any higher than the stage 2 tune. I see no reason too. I'm already getting the jb4, and don't need anymore Dinan hardware since i have just about everything needed for more power other than down pipes, which I don't want. I bought the actuated valve adapters for the exhaust before I even bought the car. That'll give me that extra growl if I feel the need to disturb the city.

It seems that you are aware that for Dinan Stage 3 you must first purchase their IC and larger oil cooler. It seems like a previous owner was taking it that way. You have the necessary oil cooler, and will soon have an aftermarket IC and charge pipe. Are they ok on your warranty? As Temjin mentioned, a custom tune by Justin will likely be your best option as it will work with the hardware you will have.
