Front view camera options

Hey fellas... would like to retrofit a front view camera to assist when pulling up to parking blocks and curbs.

Is the only option the one from Bimmer Tech?

I already have the rear view camera, so was hoping for an OEM version and simply connecting and coding in the option. Is that wishful thinking?

I believe there is no OEM front camera. There are rear and side-view cameras, and front proximity sensors. That is where all the information comes from for the surround view.

Yep. thank you. I saw those. Can they be used with in conjunction with the new CarPlay MMI?

Unfortunately our CarPlay MMI supports backup camera only.
