Chipsaway bad repair

I've recently had chipsaway around to do a repair to a minor scuff on the rear bumper of my wife's car (not BMW) after someone reversed into her in a car park. Luckily someone saw it happen and was able to give enough information to my wife for us to track them down.

The guy that came out to do it made a right mess and ended up doing some fairly significant damage elsewhere. The second specialist they sent out to assess the damage was shocked at the list of issues I had found and even found some other problems.

Chipsaway have been good so far at trying to resolve and have offered for it to be sorted at one of their car care centres.

Does anyone have any experience of Chipsaway Chichester car care centre? I can't find many reviews online and want to make sure its done properly.

That sounds bad, have you got any photos of the damage?

If its the same guy that came out to me (right sort of area) and mentioned that another job they quoted on whilst here would need the car in their workshop (didn't get that done yet though), they did a touch up on my old F31 and it was a very good job, couldn't tell.....

was your F31 done by their workshop or the mobile guy?

The mobile guy that came out to assess was very knowledgeable and professional so would probably trust him to do any future work.

There are loads of pics so maybe not easy to put up? How would i do that anway? Worst area was a matt rather than gloss finish in an area miles away from the original damage.

The matt finish section is probably where the repair has been blended into the original paint work. Even though the damage may have been quite small 1/4 to 1/2 the bumper will have been painted depending on the colour of the car to blend the repair and cover with clear lacquer.

A good repair will be blended at a swage line or narrow section of body work where it is easier to lose and then flatted back and polished up so you'd never know it had been done.

What colour and model is the car?
