New CAI design coming to the 335 soon

Saw this intake design at the dragstrip. Im gonna make a dual "cone" setup for my car. The gains will be sick.

Yeah no filter, and it was raining. You could see water on the inside of the cone. You think he would of at least put some pantyhose on there.

I would like some chicken wire on the end of mine to make sure no debris gets in though (i.e. logs, or baby deer.)

its not uncommon to remove the headlight and throw a better designed funnel in. matter of fact i think i've seen some team race audi's do that. those air filters the supra big turbo guys use could easily inhale fine sand through the filters but at 1000rwhp you don't have much choice. i'm suprised that cone doesn't melt

Nice Photoshop, & good luck...

There's no room for anything like that under the hood of the 335i, and the two best intakes for the 335i (vishnu & UR) already have dyno-proven gains.

By by all means, spend the money and let's see what you can come up with...

Ah, the ever popular traffic cone intake.. EXTREMELY effective, at least while the motor remains alive without a filter.

No photoshop used my friend. Wouldn't waste that kind of time. This intake was actually used at Orlando Speed World, needless to say everyone was in awe.
