What will your first mod(s) be?

Hi Folks

I guess there are many which will just leave the car stock and enjoy it as it is. But I‘m pretty sure there are more which plan at least a few mods, some certainly more than just a few

I also know MR will make sure that the BMW carbon fibre factory will be profitable for a full year at least...

I ordered the M2C exactly to my liking (see link below), the only things i added right on delivery are the M Performance steering wheel pro with cf trim, the pedal covers and the carbon fibre rear diffuser.

The only thing i have ordered so far is a BMS clutch stop since i won‘t be able to re use the one from my E46. But I can imagine things like steel brake lines, short shifter, liteblox battery, M Performance cf spoiler, winglets, mirror caps, etc. and a cf engine cover coming next year. No ecu tune untill the warranty period is over, but very likely after that.

What are your plans?

are you getting the AP racing BBK so you can run 18"s? I'm thinking about doing that, as great as the stock brakes will be I want to run 18"s....

For me, it's:
AP BBK
Ohlins
Volk ZE40's
CF hood if it's not insanely expensive

Exactly! I want to be able run 18" wheels at the track. I actually already bought the kit. Just waiting for my car to be here so that I can seap them

Edit: Another side benefit is the weight savings. The new BBK on the M2C is about 35lbs heavier than the smaller brakes with blue calipers. Essex kit saves 20lbs (10lbs front and rear each) over the blue brakes. So a total of 55lbs weight savings.

Wheels for sure followed by suspension and tune. But most importantly, Xpel or some kind of paint/body protection.

And we already know that it fits the m2C right? It should be the same..

I'm also considering hoarding parts while I wait for the car to arrive. Alcon is the best option methinks.

Worth it. ..has already saved the bumper, hood and rear 1/4 panel in front of wheels on my M2 from rock chips. It hurts the day you pay for it, but you quickly forget about it...sort of like childbirth for women I suppose.

- Full detail of the paint and quartz coating
- Carbon kit for the shifter and handbrake
- Muffler blacked out if I find a decent solution
- Likely metal pedals

Depending on sound, might go MPE next.
Edit: might also upgrade the shifting paddles
