Do I need the Office Package ?
On my last 320 I was able to receive text messages from my Samsung Android mobile.
I have just changed to a 320 M Sport (which I love) however, I really miss not beiang able to pick up the texts. Should I have gone for the Office package or is there a work around ? Last edited by Gruck52; 06-11-2018 at 10:24 AM.. Reason: more specific phone |

I'd love to know which coding option will enable this! When I ordered mine I was lead to believe that I could add Apple Car Play afterwards from the Connected Drive store. I can't work out why, but apparently it isn't available for my car (it's only 3 weeks old).

I can get texts on my idrive without any online subscription. Mines a2012 car with pro nav. I would have thought a newer car ought to be able to do it. As far as I know I didn't code anything although I have made some coding changes in an unsuccessful attempt to get online services to work through my phone

Texts require Enhanced Bluetooth (EBT). Can be coded.
