Some days the 435d isnt so bad....

As much as i dislike having a diesel somedays it has its advantages.

Running late for work, 60 mile round trip, wife took the car out over the weekend and i see a range of 50 miles... and no time in the morning to fill up, and diesel where i work is 127.9 vs 118.7 at home.

So eco mode and stuck to no more than 65. At the end of the duel carrigeway i get 62mpg:

Went as high as 65mpg at one point......

Got to work and the range says 35miles so i have effectly gained 15 miles based on the obc

The first 5 miles of my journey was slow stop start traffic, but in eco pro most of that is coasting and then braking.

Then when that pic was taken 18 miles of a42/ m42, set the cruise control to 65mph, and had to break/ accelerate half a dozen times.

Dull, but the difference of doing 80 miles vs 65 saves about 3 minutes 😂
