F30 trim - Aluminium with Estoril blue
I’m looking to get a 335D and have found a car that I like. It’s Estoril blue with mocha leather, a combination that I think just about works. But it has the trim with the Estoril blue strip on it and it looks dire!
Just wondered if it can be replaced, how much a replacement costs to buy and how difficult it is to fit? Many thanks! Steve |

I'd like to see the mocha/estroil as mocha is my preferred leather. |

I hate it, blue or red, this was one of the things I was looking to avoid choosing car so mine is gloss black.
What BMW were thinking Think spray sounds like easiest solution |

You can wrap in Gloss black vinyl which is easiest way of changing the colour or you can buy Gloss black trims off Dealers but that’s door off and strip off job which is a hard work .
I agree with all above ^^ , hate Blue and red strips look naf . |

My last one was 2015 which had the blue across the dash, but the door trims were Matt black.
I liked it to begin with, as with an Estoril blue car it tied it all in. In the end, I grew tired of it as it cheapened the interior IMO I

I've seen people selling full sets on ebay, so it's possible to find a way to remove them. And like others have said, a wrap is a good plan B.

It's such a naff idea - totally cheapens the interior IMHO. Can't think what BMW were thinking of. If the colour isn't carried into the doors then swapping the trim pieces is very easy - 30 mins work. You can sometimes find reasonably-priced trim kits on eBay, but in general they're very pricey for what they are. Take a look at the alcantera M-Sport trims - they are quite tasty.
Spraying is probably the cheapest option though. Remove them, mask them well and then use a black gloss enamel spray. It'll be tough enough. |

I must be part of the minority as I quite like it. I don’t really notice it when driving (the blue strip that is) and anyone looking at the car looks at the outside anyway!

+1. I like it on my Glacier Silver car. My previous was a piano black interior, never done cleaning it as it shows every fingerprint and mark.
