I feel for you Europeans and VAT. It’s unconscionably high. I paid less tax when I bought a GT3 RS in 2009.

Thumbs up

Wow - that's pretty good - I'm hardly envious at all, as I haven't heard a peep from my dealer yet. Could you divulge which dealer you've ordered with ? Thank you and congratulations; nice spec.

Sent you a Private Message on who the dealer is as I'd prefer not to post it publicly.

I'd be curious to know what dealers are saying about allocation numbers per dealer for 2018?

Has anyone got insight to how many vehicles will be coming to the UK this year?

I'd figure the M2C build rate will be pretty similar, if not exactly the same, as the outgoing M2. In the last year we've seen that people can get build slots on the M2 quite quickly (deliveries within 2-3 months), so there's not pent-up demand for the M2 anymore. I'd guess that there will be an initial glut of orders for the M2C as it's the new shiny model people want, but I doubt that glut will be anything like what happened with the the M2.

My guess is that anyone wanting an M2C will be able to get one within a year of first model deliveries. Probably sooner. But WTFDIK, I'm just guessing based on M2 orders and likely M2C interest.

Surely the configurator should be online if you can spec the car?

My dealer just sent a few screenshots of the internal BMW system that showed the configuration options. I put the order together from that.

That's a proper screen shot. Your dealer must have snapped it for you...

Looks like early Sept seems to be the consensus when first cars will be in owners hands.
