Which tyres
I have a set of 19" 403m's and I am wondering if you can advise me on the best all round tyres for them?
The tyres are staggered 225 front and 255 rear. Also do I need to change all 4 as xdrive? Sorry if this has been done to death Thanks in advance |

#1 in the respected Autobild 19” Summer Tire Tests for a 3rd year in a row. MPSS was #1 in 2015 Test beating the previous Conti entry SC6 #1 in their first year (2016) - beating previous #1 MPSS SC6 #1 2017 - Michelin was between MPSS and MPS4. SC6 #1 2018 - beat MP4S which was tied for 2nd place Testing this year used a BMW M2 as the test vehicle. http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1479414 I have driven on them for 18 months now and the best tires I have ever used. Period. Last edited by IK6SPEED; 05-15-2018 at 09:14 PM.. |

Ben Patey is your man (if you are on facebook forums). I think he charges circa £570 for a set of MPS4S in the sizes you want.

I went for the MPS4 with black circles - they had a £40 discount code in their website. Such a difference in comfort - a lot less noise coming into the cabin.
Need to research what is the best thing to have/do in case of a puncture. |

Conti 5 had that reputation. Not seen anything on Conti 6.

MP4S but with one reservation : the fronts have a softer feeling turn-in that the MPSS which I had previously. MP4S have a softer sidewall. Great tyres though, and much better grip and traction that the MPSS (and most other tyres on the market).
I've not tried the Contis.
