Open hood, get out 4 star screws at top of grille (T25-T30 size), put your hand inside the bumper to get out clips holding grille. I recommend to start from side clip, then two from bottom, three from top and one at another side. It's very easy, just 5 mins, no more.

Do not follow the advice posted in other posts to grab and pull. It may work but irreparable damage to your entire bumper cover could easily happen. Instructions above are pretty good. The clips need to be compressed before sliding out of their slots. It will be much more apparent once you do the very minor disassembly and get your hands in there.
By the way: That part is matte black ABS plastic it is NOT painted nor would you want one that was painted for durability reasons. |

I got my grill but didn't put it on yet.
However, I took out the grill just to see how hard it was and took me about 3 mins top. I'll install it when my painted reflectors come-in so it will be color matched.
