Ericsson FRP M3!!!

Have you guys seen this kit? I remember reading about it a while back, but it was only available in dry carbon then. Anybody know how to attach pics?

The only pics on the website are the dry weave carbon fiber, and they have been posted the on this website before. The only difference would be that the FRP would be only body colored. The price is 2,000 much better for the FRP than the 10,000 they charge for the Dry Carbon Fiber.

$10K for a front bumper? For what.. to have an old lady back-up into your new bumper cracking the CF. Good luck getting a new one from your insurance company.

FRP pricing is not bad. We called them about a kit for our M3. It takes around 4 months to get from Japan!

I love that kit! Anyway, there's an American company that makes a rep of the front bumper BUT they're only willing to make an application for a regular e90 3-series for now & e92 regular coupe at the end of the year (for SEMA). Fitment looked good & cost was around $400-$500 (was sponsored or something like that) from what I remember reading. One of the owners or management guy & pics is on e90post. Will try to find the link tomorrow if you guys can't find it by then.

I would if the quality & fitment is great.

Slightly off-topic...Back then when I had an e46 M3, the ACS cf front lip was going for $2k + cost of painted top portion while a good rep cost $300-$400 (including painting top portion oem color). I ended up getting the rep & at the next local M3 meet another owner had the real deal ACS front lip. Needless to say, we both couldn't tell the difference besides me not having the ACS sticker. Anyway, my point is that some reps can look & fit great if done right.

PS: Many (read: non-supercars) oem front bumpers cost anywhere from $200 (Honda's, Toyota's, etc.) to $1500 (AMG, etc.) so it's not like $500 is dirt cheap but then again I probably have that view b/c I'm no balla like some of you.

dam..they're making FRP now..thats much much better than the DRY CF...i mean serious...if you just crack your bumper for CF..you will feel the pain all through your body...

FRP is much better reach..i mean I will paint my bumper anyways if Im getting it..so no body will actually know the difference..

does anyone know if the frp version front bumper.. has CF lips as well ?

well.... is the one your talking about 100% fiberglass... if so.. thats why its so cheap... FRP is a much better material.... front lips are a lil dif then whole bumpers.... ive ran rep front lips...

but if it looks good and fits good.. then like u said... its good to go..... but with body parts..... you usually get what u pay for...

Are you talking about the ACS front lip rep I had or the Ericsson front bumper rep? The ACS front lip rep was 100% carbon fiber but I'm not sure what material the Ericsson front bumper rep is.
