OT: DC area mechanic/shop for 300zx?
My dad has a 300zx TT that is in need of some love. I don't know all the details, but he claims one cylinder is not firing (not sure if this is true or if it's something else). Do you guys know of any shops or mechanics in the NoVA area familiar w/ the 300zx that might be helpful?

Curry's Automotive Service
4003 Westfax Dr # A Chantilly, VA 20151 (703) 502-0400 currysauto.com I used them a long time ago for some work on my 98 M3, if they are still run/operated by the same mechanics I couldn't recommend them strongly enough. A little on the expensive side, but I believe you get what you pay for.

Excellent. Thanks for the additional recommendations. I sent the first on to pops, but haven't heard anything back from him so I don't know what his plans are -- it's nice to have some more choices to suggest. Maybe he'll just give up and give the car to me, and I'll take it in. I think it's a '93 but it has very low miles and looks great. Could be a fun project car.
