BMW snap in adapter compatiabilty

Hi All,

I recently got a 2014 320 XI and would like to be able to pull my music up and control it on in the car. I know it isnt possible with just a usb cord. does anyone know if the BMW SNAP-IN ADAPTER FOR APPLE WITH LIGHTNING CONNECTOR would allow for this? the description makes it hard to tell. here is a link to the product i am asking about https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/6...NING-CONNECTOR

Yes it is. There is no reason to use the snap in adapter.

How? I have the iPhone 8 and when I plug it in it dosnt pull up anything just says can’t read. It was the same with me previous 2012 335i. Ever since the lightning plug in game it hasn’t worked

works fine for me with both an iPhone 8 and an older iPod Nano.

You have to use a good cord for it to work, make sure it's a true apple cord and it should work fine
