A good deal for a 2017 540i?

Hello All,

As I'm considering some leases, I came across at 2017 540xi for monthly lease of $668. It is a base model with only harmon kardon sound system option added. The included options can be seen on attached photo. However, I'm surprised it does not have standard backup camera. Please share your thoughts if this is a reasonable lease to takeover. Let me know your opinions!

Thanks

How much cap cost reduction or total out-of-pocket are they asking? Also - I don't see a photo attached with the options.

Sorry, attached now. No out of pocket, just the lease transfer fee of $500. Car is very basic.

Thanks!

Based on 36-month 12,000 miles per year, with a residual of 60% and MF of 0.00152, I get $820 per month not including tax or discounts to the MSRP.

Assuming your quoted payment doesn't include tax either, it appears to be about a 9% discount off MSRP. I believe there is also a $2000 lease credit on 2017's for February, so the real discount is probably closer to 5-6%.

It isn't a bad deal in my opinion, but you may be able to squeeze a couple extra percentage points of discount out of them because the car is very base as you point out.

Again, just my opinion.

Thanks for the info. bud. This would be a lease assumption from a private owner not BMW dealer. Car currently has 28 months remaining and 10,000 miles/yr. There is no standard backup camera but does have the lightning package inside. Monthly is actually $660.
