E9x Radiator Fan - Small Crack

All -

Recently, I was replacing the Idler Pulley on my '08 E90, and in the process of removing the fan, I noticed(likely probably caused it) a slight crack in the outer portion(not the blades, but the circular piece connecting the blades) of the fan itself within the Fan Shroud.

Question is, the fan is still running fine, albeit slightly more noisey, but should I be concerned and be looking to replace the fan? Or is there any good way to repair this crack?

From what I can see, it is buy the whole assembly, or bust. So, want to be sure before I look to spend $500+ on a new fan assembly.

i would at least try to epoxy it before a full replacement.
