Hit and Run Last Night

So my front bumper got clipped last night either in the Ibiza Club parking lot or my own apartment complex. Not quite sure when it happened. The front bumper.. passenger side corner... is all scraped up... straight through to the plastic...

Does anyone know a good shop around Rockville Maryland that can repaint my front bumper quickly and do a good job? I'm heading to Dubs at the Beach in Ocean City next weekend and don't have much time to spare.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your car

I found this place (Oldest to Newest) on Yahoo and saw that it had 13 ratings, all 5 stars. My Aero Lip and CSL bootlid are currently there being painted and installed. So far they've been an absolute pleasure to deal with, and from the reviews it seems like they provide very high quality at very reasonable prices.

Good luck, and hope this helps!

i know a lot of people don't like the service at VOB, but I've seen work that their body shop does, and its very good.

Thanks guys.. I'll give them both a call to see how quickly they can work..

Another huge problem is the fact that my Aerolip has to come off somehow in order for them to repaint..

There's a collision center on Jefferson Davis Hwy. near Potomac Yard that has a lot of BMWs (maybe affiliated with BMW of Arlington?). I can't vouch for the place personally, though.

Good luck getting everything taken care of.

Did you try Oldest to Newest? I've been jipped by VOB Auto Body before and wouldn't be surprised if you did too =\

Damn dood, that does suck. My wife's MDX took a smiliar hit just the other day. I guess the days of owning up and doing the right thing are over. Seems hit and run is the norm now. Good luck to you in getting that fixed but count your blessings, no sheet metal.

That'll be Wagonworks. Expensive but they have a great reputation. I've sent my car to them once for a front bumper scrape (similar to the OP's), and very happy with the work. Only problem is they're kind of picky i.e. takes time to schedule an appointment etc.

In a pinch, contact swoop (whatever happened to him btw). His contact (who works out of Chevy Chase Acura some days out of a mobile setup) does good, cheap and fast work. Last year we did a spring time dings/paint meet in a park in MD and we were satisfied with the service (there's a picture thread and contact info somewhere).

one of my friend's car was hit & run within the first week of purchase.
Brand new car with less than 100 miles and a dent in the car, ouch. And yes no notes....
It's a jungle out there.
