Tune2Air3000b

hi quick question I have the basic setup for my car no nav etc just pure shitty basic. I purchased the Tune2Air3000b to transmit a Bluetooth connection to stream music via idrive from my ipod so I can control my playlists which works perfectly fine on the steering wheel...however, the sound only comes out from the right side of the car. checked equaliser settings and can confirm the sound balance is set to neutral. anybody know why ?

unfortanetly the manufacturer is not being very helpful and don't provide any real support
