Flush mount painted reflectors Group Buy May 19th to Jun 1st
Hi guys, I just got back from vacation and am now ready to put together this group buy. As many of you know we have started offering the flush mount reflector inserts last week but for the ones waiting so long and with all your support to make a product like this we decided to give you a little more incentive with the group buy. Our normal sale price is listed for $100 on eBay and we will be offering 10% discount for forum members from today forward.
But for the Group buy we are offering a 20% discount for the next 2 weeks. This GB will end on Jun 1st. You have 2 weeks to place the order and all orders will be sent out on Jun 4th. We are already in the process of having at least 30 sets ready for shipment. The inserts are made but are currently being prepped for paint. All orders placed between today and Jun 1st will be painted by EOD Jun 2nd and shipped out by Jun 4th. Now let me explain the final product to you guys just so that you know exactly what you are getting. Originally we were going to include a Glue to perm install the brackets to your bumper and the inserts you would be able to remove on your desire whether you want to stay with flush inserts, go back to factory or go with options that might be available in the future. After testing of our first set that I personally took out to Bimmerfest we found that perm fix of the mounts were not necessary although I did find that we needed to make the inserts adjustable in depth. We attached the mounts with double sided tap (will be pre-attached to the mounts) and once we came back from our 3 day trip to Santa Barbara we decided to really test how well they stayed on. We removed inserts (attached with tabs and double sided tape) that were in place and not easy to remove. Then we tried to remove mounts and were only able to with a screwdriver. I’ve always known 3M tape was good and well it is nice to be reminded. I have tried these inserts on 3 separate M3's and all had 1 to 2mm difference on depth. To solve this for each application we include 1ft of 3M double sided tape that should be applied in layers to achieve the correct depth. Each layer of tape should cover approx 1mm spacing. Each factory bumper from BMW may look identical but in reality will be off by at least 1 to 4mm. anyone who has dealt with any aftermarket parts or even OEM aftermarket can tell you this. These inserts are made of durable polyurethane and painted factory OEM BMW paint by Color Code. They are painted in a Down force paint booth to offer exceptional quality paint without any blemishes. No you will not have any visible lettering. We take our time with the cure process and bake each set for 45 minutes at 160 degree's for a stronger external cure and then allow them a 48 hour chill cure process for a stronger internal cure. Each set will include instructions on how best to install them with tips on how to set the mounting brackets so that you can remove the inserts and install the factory reflectors without removing the mounting brackets. We will be accepting payments with paypal for your safety. Please PM me with title: "M3 Insert Order" You’re Name: Address: City: State: Zip: E-mail: (to accept invoice from paypal) Color: QTY (if you need more then one) Pricing as follows: Normal Price $100 +$10 Shipping -----------------------eBay flat rate Forum discount $90 +$10 Shipping ---------------------10% discount M3post member Group Buy $80 +$10 Shipping ----------Available May 19, 2008 to Jun 1st 2008 Each Order will include the following: 1 set factory OEM painted reflector inserts 2 sets mounting brackets (in black) 1ft 3M tap Installation instructions Invoice Once you have placed an order I will send you an invoice from Paypal with details of your individual order. Your payment is due by Jun 1st in order for us to ship your reflectors by Jun 4th. All orders placed Between May 19th and Jun 1st will receive the GB price. Feel free to ask any questions guys I'm here to answer them all for you.

Will painting of the edges on the bumper be necessary for space gray or any color for that matter?

Necessary? no. Recomended Yes. it looks fine without the edges being painted but it fools the eye into thinking there is a bigger gap. the black bumper cut just looks like shadow. When painted it looks better. I am seeing what I can do about incuding a Minute amount of touch up paint with the orders. I will let you know about that by the end of the week.
