e92 335i M sport knob or ZHP knob?

I have an e92 335i M-sport 6mt. I currently have the stock M-sport shift knob and boot (1 piece).

I was thinking of getting the ZHP knob and boot (2 separate pieces).

Is it worth spending the $150+ to get the 2 separate pieces needed?

This! It's so rad. Easily my favorite mod I've done on each BMW!

Bimmian has some. I went with ZHP one as it is leather and matches my steering wheel with some metal trim.

How hard is it to wire? I had a lit up OEM knob in my e46 m3.

My mechanic wired it up for me. Originally he was going to tap off of the cigarette lighter in the arm rest but decided to tap off of something under the dash instead. Easier access. The draw is minimal as it uses an led, so you pretty much can tap off of anything that is switched on and off by the ignition, as long as it does not affect how the device functions.

ZHP knob & boot plus the parking brake knob/boot give the car a nice touch & keeps it more original€.

I bought my set over the course of a year. I agree $225-250.00 is a lot of money to spend on 3 pieces. That is why I split up the expenditure in to two separate purchases.

I don not have buyers remorse. The car looks better.

I even bought the matching sport panel for the steering wheel. That was another $100.00
