Dash cam
Who has dash cam installed in their car?
I'm currently looking for one and have a friend that's using an Aukey one from Amazon and got good review. Wondering if anyone else have anything they want to share. I know there's a post for another model in this forum as well. If anyone has something different, dual front and rear recording that they like, please share! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01M5...hd+1080p&psc=1 |

I have this one. It goes on your rear view mirror.

I run two iOn Dashcams.... one front on suction cup and one rear mounted between the defrost strips.
Love how people will start to tailgate me and realize there is a camera looking right at them and they back off. |

I have an A119 (1440p30) mounted to the right of the rain sensor. It's hardwired to the 12v socket fuse behind the glovebox.
I want a rear camera but haven't figured out a clean install yet. |

Don't do it bro. There are ones like this on Alibaba/eBay/Amazon for cheaper although none of them seem to review well. I'm waiting for the tech to get better on these 360 dome cameras.

I have the thinkware f770. It has parking mode and an internal voltage regulator to shut off if your battery voltage becomes too low. You can get the thinkware with a rear facing dashcam or just use the front. Video quality is really good and picks up audio well.

But it gets stellar reviews and is exactly what I am looking for in a rear/font dash set up!

I still haven't gotten around to getting one, but I thought a lot of folks like BlackVue which can be purchased at Costco (front/rear)...now I see there is some talk about Thinkware?

Here's a good site for some dash cam and radar detector reviews. He was on the smoking tire podcast, he seemed pretty knowledgable.

I installed the CYHY one on my E90 and I'm very happy. Looks OEM, and the ability to grab the files via WiFi is nice (although slow).

I just finished installing the BMW Advanced Car Eye on my e90. It has Front & Rear facing cameras. OEM integration and nice features. Boots up with a BMW logo too. Has GPS and software that looks to show alot more data if needed. Still haven't checked that portion out yet.
So far it looks to be a very good investment. I'm happy with the look & the wide angle covers alot of area. Might want to add it to your Option List. ECS has it. If you shop around it can be had for under $300. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...212359954~geb/ |

I have a mini 0906 which comes with two HD cameras (front and back) parking guard and GPS. Mine was £125 with a hard wiring kit which I have put into my E90 via fuses (piggy backed them). For more information please see the link to my post.
