Car Wash Formula

Hi All,

I just finished my Chemical Guy Citrus Wash and wants to see what others are using. Any suggestion on a good wash formula?

CG Citrus is great to strip off old wax, so if you are looking for a maintenance soap, you can look into Sonax, or Some of the others. It can also depend on what you have on the car as protection.

Paul Dalton has some new soap that is seriously great!!

Worth noting that the old citrus red removes wax. I think that’s called clean slate now. The new citrus wash and gloss is supposedly safe for waxes and sealants.

Oh and OP, I use CG honeydew but sometimes alternate between that, adams, and nanolex. Sort of depends on my mood.

This made me laugh.

The wash and gloss is a good soap. You shouldn't have any issues. If you want something without the gloss enhancers may want to try one of the CG soaps that don't have it. Honeydew, Mr Pink, maxisuds, etc.

Citrus wash n gloss will work fine if diluted low. I use high concentrate to strip before full paint correction.

Honeydew is good.
Hyperwash is a great soap with now wax or gloss enhancers.
Reset is awesome. I use on coated cars.

I will give ADAM's a try, anyone experience with their WASH and WAX?
Also, any suggestion or wheels cleaner? Seems like Sonax or Carpro are the ones to get.
