Thoughts on stock ride height
The rear ride height on an E92 is pretty perfect from the factory, barely any room to stick a finger between the tire and fender. The front, however, is awful. Theres a huge gap, leading me to want to get lowering springs for the front only. Is this a safe thing to do? Has anyone done this to even out the ride height to look more like factory M3 ride height?

It's not suggested to run miss matched springs... that being said I know many people that do it all the time. Just keep in mind you'll run the risk of upsetting handling if the spring rates are too different (think H&R Race VS stock springs).

Don't do it man. You will make the handling properties of the car seriously volatile. You want the same springs all around whenever you can manage it.
You might be sitting there thinking "well I don't care if it handles worse, I want it to look better" but trust me that it's not worth the sacrifice. You can literally make the car unsafe to drive on the street by having wildly different F/R spring rates (actually, L/R too, for that matter).
