Question CD-RW music?

Just to check, has anyone had any problems using CD-RW (re-writable) music discs (not mp3 discs) in the dash CD player or in the 6-disc multichanger, with SatNav Pro?
Cheers.

yo

check the search, there was a post about this a week or two ago, here are the basics from what i've heard - The e90's with the nav does not play mp3 cd's, the e90 without nav(mine) plays mp3's but you have to convert all files to mp3 format(not mp4's which are ipod or wma files) Not sure about the six disc cd changer but i don't think it plays mp3's, check the archives you'll find everything you need to know, later

Thanks ONEABGOL4.
It's not the actual contents of the CD which I was asking about, it's the format.
Some CD players will read CD-RW discs, some won't.

Will the e90 CD player read these discs?

Cheers.

Update anyone?

I have been curious about the issue of CR-RW, so I thought I would revive this topic. Has anyone successfuly gotten a CD-RW with MP3s to work in the Logic 7 player?

I have Nav so mine doesn't play Mp3s but I can play a CD-RW disc recorded as an audio CD. However, when the radio is off, the cd player sometimes keeps searching for a track like it can't find it but when playing the CD everything is fine and I can play all the tracks.

I tried recording another CD-RW audio cd which didn't work but that CD has "CD-RW DATA" written all over it. so I guess it depends on what type of CD-RW you use.

I only have those 2 CD-RWs so I haven't tried anything else.

I have Logic7, CD changer and no Nav.
The in-dash CD player and 6-disc changer do play CD-RW's (btw, they were MP3s).

Note, the in-dash CD player will not read/display ID3 v2 tags only v1, the CD changer will read v2 tags.

I'm expecting my car with NavPro & Logic7 in about a week, so I'll try out a few CD-RWs in the in-dash CD-drive & multichanger, & DVD+RW in the in-dash DVD drive, both filled with mp3s.
Will let you all know the outcome.
