Considering doing mmw catless headers and an OFT tune for my 2008 328i N51. I already have a secondary cat and muffler delete but want more power and I hate the throttle response lag in regular D mode. I don't know anyone with these mods whose car I can test so I'd like feedback from other owners who've done these mods and whether or not they're worth the price

I mean it would certainly free up some power. Worth the money? That would be up to you, the buyer. Generally, people say no but it depends on how happy you are with a 15-30HP gain. That is kind of the limit of what you will get with headers and a tune assuming you have the 3SI already which I think you do on the N51.

My opinion is, no. I love NA engines but the tune-ability is really in the 335 realm. Its certainly fun to extract the extra power out of the N51/2 but if money is your concern, it would be better spent taking weight away and upgrading suspension components. Just my two cents.
