Exclamation Please help, what does this code mean??

After a drive last night when i put the car in park out of no where the rpms spiked then came back down and started idling roughly not stalling out but had an unpleasant idle and felt like the front of the car was shaking. Took it a partsource and had them scan it and the code was

P0365 camshaft position sensor B circuit (bank 1)

What does this mean exactly has anyone experienced this before? The car is a 2008 BMW 328XI e90
