LBB paint
For those of you who haven't PPF'd your LBB M2, how does LBB paint hold up? i.e. for showing swirls & marring.
How do stone chips show up, are they noticeable from a distance? My poor MG M2 was involved in a wall falling on it and I'm contemplating LBB as a replacement. MG is probably one of the most mark friendly paint colours and I would like to know how robust is LBB? |

I didn't think stone chips would bother me on the lbb. Got some and it did bother me, so I got dr color chip and then ppf. Couldn't wait to write that check for ppf at that point. I believe the primer used matches MG but stands out if you can see it on lbb

Decided against PPF... but did go for Ceramic Pro coating. Holding up pretty well. Though I only have managed ~6K km on it so far. Loving the look of the Ceramic Pro! It is not as effortless a washing as they would make you believe. But looks great when cleaned.
The one small chip I did get (very small) was in an area I would not have gotten PPF on anyway. So glad I did not spend the money just to see that happen. |
